Hello world!

Hi! I wanted a space to write about random nonsense, so... here it is.

I may eventually have some other things on this domain but at this point it's just this blog. Having Yet Another Server™ just to run hugo and caddy seems pointless, not to mention the cost and climate impact, so this blog is powered by mataroa.

Mataroa has some amazing core principles - no ads, no tracking, open source, and the list goes on.

I do wish there was a few more options in terms of customization ¹, but maybe the fact that I can't customize the look of this blog will mean that I write more instead of fiddling with how it looks...

Anyway.

I decided to call this blog "corundite" because rocks are cool. Am I kidding? You'll never know.

On the note of not knowing - this blog was created as a separate entity from my online presence for a reason. I would prefer to keep it that way, so if you would like something to refer to the person behind the letters, I'm pretty partial to the name of the blog. Cor for short? I'm pretty sure there are comments, so feel free to comment if you have better ideas.

I'm not sure what my posting schedule is going to look like (or if I will even have anything resembling consistency?), because I tend to flip-flop between interests frequently. So, don't be surprised if I post and then go radio silent for weeks (or months).

I'm curious to the see who reads these (will anybody?). I haven't quite decided what I want to write about,to be honest. It'll probably be, as said before, a bunch of random nonsense, though maybe a bit more on the techy side.

So, yeah. Blog. Yay. (I can't think of anything else that I wanted to say)
